These pictures were taken just off of Kihei Rd in Kihei on the north side of town. Many of the outrigger canoe shots were located at Kalepolepo Beach Park

We weren’t going to make it to the water in time, and I’ve done so many sunsets right at the water I didn’t mind at all trying it from up on the mountain side. So here we are… me walking down the highway trying to find a great foreground. I passed by this one at the perfect time. If you’re wondering the colors weren’t touched post process… but they were probably touched in camera more than I would have even in lightroom. I finagled the white balance to make these a little warmer than usual. Just goes to show you that camera IS a computer.
